CORE GROUPS

The foundation of our Men’s Ministry is our Core Groups (groups meet on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday). These groups meet weekly during the school year, and no “pre-registration” is necessary, just drop in! Times and locations are listed below.

Each week these groups consist of a teaching theme, a table discussion on the topic, and some snacks (always need snacks!). You can drop in and join the discussion any week. This is a great way to get to know other guys and to put God’s truth to work in your life. Drop in next week and check out Real Men @ CrossCity!

Here is a list of activities planned by our Men’s Core Groups. Below is the information on the activities along with a contact person who will fill in all the details and will register you for the event. Anyone is welcome, you don’t have to be part of a Core Group to participate. Please make that contact as soon as possible to register and find out any important details.

Day Hikes Sponsored by REAL Men (Click for more info)

CrossCity REAL Men Day Hikes, 2023

Each of these hikes is a day hike, and you must bring your own hiking shoes, water, and lunch. Transportation is provided and we suggest a donation to help with the cost of gas. The group will meet in the back lot near Portable #2 and be sure to note the meeting time listed for each hike, as they vary. Please be on time and note that return times will vary depending on location and duration of the hike. Check the difficulty of each listed hike to be sure it fits your abilities. June 10, Saturday, 7:00am – Tokopah Falls, 3.5 miles. Easy.

July 3, Monday, 7:00am – Weaver Lake, 6.5 miles. Moderate.

August 3, Thursday, 6:00am – Mist Trail, Yosemite NP, 6.4 miles. Strenuous.

August 25, Friday, 7:00am – Watchtower, 9 miles. Strenuous.
